The term of Hungry Ghost refers to the spirit of any dead person undergoing suffering greater than that of humans, particularly an extreme level of hunger. The prints are an excerpt of an ongoing project of ex Voto-like paintings that started in 2017. Elena Biner is a Swiss visual artist, living and working in Copenhagen.
