Warsaw, a capital of Poland, is a city almost entirely destroyed during the WWII. Two third of the city’s area was rebuilt as anonymous residential blocks districts.

May architectural interventions serve to search for identity of urban space and the creation of community? Could we look in the tragic past for the inspiration for the new architecture?

Marlena Happach, architect from Warsaw, will talk about the projects of her team. These are temporary and permanent architectural objects, which complemented the existing development, including expansion of the Warsaw Uprising Museum, Pavilion of M3 on the S?u?ew nad Dolink? estate, M4 pavilion on Rakowiec and garden for children on the slope of the Warsaw Escarpment.
